Welcome to RangBox ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application RangBox (the "App").

• Name and email address (when you register or sign in with Google)
• Profile photo (optional, uploaded by you)
• User-generated content such as movie ratings, reviews, and watchlists

Usage Data

• App interaction data (screens visited, features used)

• Crash reports and performance diagnostics via Firebase Crashlytics

Advertising Data

• Advertising ID (used by Google AdMob to serve relevant ads)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) collected by Google AdMob

• To store and sync your watchlist, ratings, and preferences across devices
• To display personalized or contextual advertisements via Google AdMob

• TMDB (The Movie Database) — Movie metadata, posters, and trailer information
• Google Generative AI (Gemini) — AI-powered features within the app

We do not control these third-party services and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

RangBox uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and other data to serve personalized ads.

• Ads displayed include: Banner, Interstitial, Rewarded, Native, and App Open ads
• Google may use cookies and similar technologies to improve ad relevance
• You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), which is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.

• Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encrypted connections
• Firebase Security Rules restrict access to your own data only
• We retain your data as long as your account is active
• You may request deletion of your account and data at any time

While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

RangBox is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove that information.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
